After 26 years of dedicated service on the TRUE Community Credit Union Board, Jo Ann Rand is stepping down, leaving behind a legacy of leadership, commitment, and community impact.
Jo has been a credit union member since 1968 and began her service on the Board of Directors in 1999 as an Associate Director. She became an active Director in 2002, later holding an Executive Leadership role as Secretary from 2011 to 2025.
Jo brought invaluable experience from her professional career as an HR Consultant at
Consumers Energy in Jackson, the originating select employer group for the credit union.

She has been a steadfast voice for our members, ensuring their needs remain at the heart of every decision.”
In retirement, Jo has been enjoying working at the Catholic Charities - Linen Closet
and at St. Mary’s, offering community dinners for their neighbors. In her free time, she loves her grandchildren, quilting, target shooting, gardening, and football.
Her expertise in leadership development and her selfless dedication to our community have helped solidify TRUE Community Credit Union’s core values, serving as a role model for our members and staff alike.
Jo Ann Rand has been a devoted leader and advocate for TRUE Community Credit Union, its staff, and its members. Her passion and commitment have left a lasting impact on everyone who has had the privilege of working with her. As she transitions from her role, we celebrate her legacy and the profound difference she has made, knowing she will always remain a valued part of the TRUE family.
